Dr. Schar USA is a gluten-free manufacturing company looking to add a Regional Sales Manager in Canada to help grow our North American Business.Summary: Support Director of Sales and Marketing with Schar brand sales in the market in line with the strategic direction and financial objectives of the company to attain market leadership and long-term growth of the Schar brand. Responsible for food safety and quality and reporting deviations to key authority personnel.Essential Tasks:Sales and Marketing· Manage broker and distributor account managers to increase Schar brand sales and distribution in Quebec and Eastern Canada.· Regional Key Account management for retailers in local market· Implement, manage and measure promotional strategy and spending w/Retailers, Distributors and Brokers as designated.· Develop sales presentations and related materials in conjunction with marketing and present to distributors, brokers and retailers.· Coordinate retail activities with broker/distributor for designated accounts· Attend trade shows, distributor shows and retailer functions· Monitor distribution, retail pricing, and competition and provide timely reports of this information· Support annual Business Plan development process.Category Management · Work to implement Category Management best practices with designated Brokers/Distributors/Retail accounts· Utilize syndicated and internal data to build external sales and recommend sku rationalization, identify trends, etc.· Work with Director Sales & Marketing to develop specific planograms to measure and close white space opportunitiesFinancial and Administration · Fiscal & Budgetary accountability for designated retail customers to include deductions, terms, slotting, etc· Support Sales team in annual budget planning processRequirements· Must be fluent in Quebecois French.· Experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing or Food Industry preferred.Confidentiality· The job holder is only allowed to share information with authorized persons: data and information specific to the department such as: business figures and –goals, salary information, statistics and analyses, pricing, customers and supplier information, terms etc.
