We are currently seeking applications from Red Seal Electricians interested in joining our established teams in Summerside, PEI! ResponsibilitiesAbility to read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code and project specificationsWork with Electrical Apprentices, teaching them the trade.Knowledge and experience in the following fieldsAbility to efficiently layout and install PVC, EMT and galvanized steel conduit systemsTroubleshooting existing and layout of new branch circuitryInstallation, replacement and repair distribution equipment and electrical controls such as switchboards, panelboards, disconnect switchesTroubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devicesRepair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixturesAbility to operate hand tools and power tools associated with electrical workWork in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentEducation & RequirementsRed Seal Journeyperson certificateExperience working in commercial and industrial environmentsValid Driver’s LicenseWillingness to travel within the province, compensation offered for travel related costsAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach and kneelAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsSuccessful applicants will be able to work with minimal supervision As a member of FCC Electrical, we offer a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
