Recruitment Specialist | $50,000 - $60,000 + CommsWhite Bay has expanded into North America and we're hiring once again! We are currently looking to expand our Digital team to cope with the volume of roles we receive.To work with us, you must be up for the challenge! Your responsibilities will include all aspects of attracting and placing great talent for our established client base, as well as attracting new clients to the business – from meeting with hiring managers, writing job descriptions and reviewing applications, to negotiating and making job offers, all the way through to managing employee relations post-hire. In this role, you’ll make an impact and contribute to the growth of our company, particularly our North American operation based here in the heart of Vancouver. You will need top-notch communication skills, be deadline-focused, hard-working, and above all else, enjoy interacting with people!Responsibilities:Develop recruiting strategies to help us fill our clients’ hiring needs and find the right candidates for the position.Help create and evolve job descriptions in partnership with our clients.Review incoming applications to match them with job requirementsSource candidates via databases, social networks & specialist platformsPerform pre-screening calls to confirm their qualificationsSelect the most suitable candidates and refer them to hiring managersFacilitate meetings between hiring managers and applicantsHelp to interview candidates using various methods (i.e. skills assessments and structured interviews)Inform the candidates of the hiring decisionsCompose offer letters as well as negotiate salary and benefitsGain feedback continuously from hiring managersParticipate in conferences and meetups to network with professionalsRequirements:Enjoy the challenge of taking part in complex projectsHave previous experience in tech, product, creative, marketing, design, sales or customer serviceAre able to work closely with hiring managers to find the best candidates for all related positionsAre a great communicator who is focused on deadlines and resultsPerform well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal & communication skillsStrong social aptitude and ability to build relationshipsThe following would be a significant plus:A degree in business, marketing, psychology, information technology, or a technical fieldOrganizational & project management skillsRecruitment agency experiencePrior experience within salesBenefits:Market-leading commission schemeBleeding edge recruitment toolsNo KPI'sFlexible working arrangementsExtended health care, Dental care, Vision careRRSP matchPaid time offCasual dressHybrid workingThis is a great opportunity to assist in building out our North American operation.
