Reporting to the Senior Lead, Recruitment & Campus North America, the Recruitment Advisor is responsible for supporting end-to-end, full-cycle recruitment across diverse domains including engineering, geoscience, finance and technology. In this exciting role, you will join a collaborative team of HR professionals to fill essential vacancies across our operations and improve recruitment efficiencies. To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with strong learning agility, outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, who is confident building positive relationships with multiple customers. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Recruitment Advisor will provide advisement, insight and influence throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure fairness and that the ideal candidate is hired. We are seeking a highly organized individual who demonstrates precision, proficiency with HR technology (ATS, HRIS, sourcing tools) and integrity when handling confidential material. They will be capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members, and understand how to prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) based out of our head office in scenic downtown Vancouver. Responsibilities Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Act as a  trusted advisor who can guide HR and hiring teams throughout the hiring lifecycle from selection, interviewing, compensation negotiations to closure Apply the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, while ensuring candidate and customer experience is optimized Build and nurture productive working relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resource Business Partners Collaborate with a team of recruiters using Agile principles to enhance current recruitment processes and improve both candidate and client experiences Maintain online applicant tracking systems (ATS) and efficiently leverage recruitment technologies to uncover and engage the best talent Foster positive relationships with candidates through outreach, screening and interviews, building diverse lead pipelines for current and future openings Ensure recruitment activities are carried out in compliance with Canadian employment legislation and Teck policies Remain current on recruitment trends and market insights for specialized roles Qualifications Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of demonstrated ability in a recruitment role, ideally within an industrial or mining environment; blend of agency and corporate recruitment preferred Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing and screening tools, and recruitment technologies such as Lever and SAP SuccessFactors; experience with modern AI sourcing tools is beneficial Experience with crafting effective and measurable digital and social recruitment marketing campaigns is valuable Experience recruiting Mining/Geological, Engineering, Technology, and/or Finance professionals is an asset Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including MS365 Spanish language fluency is preferred Why Join Us?
