We are currently recruiting Registered Early Childhood Educators or equivalent (Child and Youth Worker or OCT Member) for a Team Lead Position inNewmarketat the following location:Meadowbrook PS.

Starting Pay:
RECE or Equivalent: $22.57 - $25.80/hour plus Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.00/hr) , Split Shift Premium ($2.00/hr) Canada Wide Early Learning, Child Care (up to $1.00/hr for RECEs where applicable) & Team Lead Premium Pay
*Candidates must be available to work a split shift in a before and after school program.

POSITION SUMMARY
In collaboration with the school age team, the Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program. The Team Lead serves as a source of information to parents, community partners, and teammates through knowledge and understanding of internal policies and procedures, government child care regulations, and dedication to early learning and development. Through professional conduct and respectful leadership, the Team Lead acts as a model and support to teammates, supply staff, volunteers, and students. The Team Lead shows support of the supervisor’s decisions and consistently advises the supervisor of information pertaining to the program.
