Foresight Recruitment Group has partnered with a Commercial Real Estate company to recruit a Real Estate Paralegal, to be based out of Calgary, AB. This is your opportunity to not only work for an Owner but also a Strategic Developer with future growth opportunities.
Your new role
You will work alongside an established legal team reporting directly to the Legal Services Manager. As an experience Paralegal, you will support transactions across Western Canada. Your duties will include lease preparation, draft and negotiation, contract management, legal documentation, insurance polices, preparing real estate files, tenant/client communication & maintaining corporate records. You will also be required to travel once every quarter to meet with the rest of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have 4+ years experience as a real estate paralegal. Experience with legal documentation: leasing, insurance policies, claims and handling corporate documentation. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable working both in a team environment and independently. Experience with Appara is desirable and a Legal Assistant diploma or degree in legal studies is an asset, but not a requirement.
