High Tech Genes is seeking a RAN Engineer-5G to collaborate with our lab team in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting equipment for customer environments, while providing expert knowledge to facilitate testing of pre-GA products and software in virtualized O-RAN systems nationwide. This role involves close collaboration with various partners in the lab.In this role, you will:Ensures solutions meet all criteria specified in the specific test plansProvide SME support for testing teams to deploy, troubleshoot/resolve complex issues with installed RF and O-RAN test systems for RAN equipmentEngages and escalates issues with vendors when equipment or software isnt performing as expectedCoordinate and implement proposed changes and software upgradesWill maintain updated technical specifications of lab and external systems managed by the lab teamAble to Deep Dive into Lab Network for identifying network issue and provide necessary suggestion to improveMonitor the E2E ApplicationRequired skills and experience:Hands on Experience on Integration Experience vRAN/Open-RANKnowledge on Transport IP Planning, CIQ’sPreferred NEP knowledge is Samsung or MavenirKnowledge of Linux, K8s is mustKnowledge on EMS, UMS for configurationExperience in monitoring alarmsBS in Engineering or technical degree or an equivalent combination of highly related experience and educationOptional requirements:Experience of5G coreAbility to analyze problems and customer handlingExcellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skillsAptitude for Creativity and InnovationHigh Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
