rhi is seeking an experienced Cost Consultant or Quantity Surveyor to join the rhi Canada team based in the beautiful Rockies Mountains in Calgary Canada. ***** Visa's will be provided for UK-based candidates who meet the requirements ****** An experienced Cost Consultant in the delivery of project services and support to resource management, who is interested in making an impact within a global organization, will thrive in this environment. This position is based in Calgary working in a Hybrid arrangement. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working on Mega Energy, Mining, or large Civil Capital Projects in both Pre and Post-Contract. Responsibilities include: Deliver on Project Services engagements to meet client requirements Develop and maintain effective internal working relationships, at all levels of the organization Manage operational performance consistent with agreed objectives and measures Provide strong safety leadership to shape the Business’ culture Participate in industry and other forums to represent rhi and its interests About You: Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience, with demonstrated knowledge of Project services (includes: estimating, cost, planning and risk, an appreciation of contracts) Experience leading and developing a team of professionals with internal and external growth top of mind Degree qualified, or equivalent with relevant work experience and preferably membership of a recognized professional body (RICS, CIQS, AACE, etc.) Established track record delivering business growth in project services Ability to research and analyze business results, competitive marketplace conditions, and industry trends Possess strong business acumen in addition to well-rounded general management capabilities, including managing budgets and projects Strong written and verbal communications skills, including proven presentation/pitch abilities to senior audiences Strong customer and commercial focus
