Ultimately it means a better work environment and product.THE ROAD TO BETTER STARTS WITH YOUCheck out what others are saying about working at BD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYnF9buQzX8*We offer RRSP matching as well as quarterly incentive plans for all our Full-Time Permanent employees.BD Diesel is looking for reliable and dependable Quality Specialist who can help us with regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes related duties with a can-do attitude.Shift: 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. Monday to Friday.Quality Specialist's responsibilities include:Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished productsImplement and maintain quality control standards and proceduresIdentify and address quality issues and discrepancies, providing solutions and recommendations for improvementCoordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standardsAnalyze product specifications and requirements to establish quality and reliability standardsDevelop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for incoming, in-process, and final inspectionsCollaborate with other departments to integrate quality control techniques into overall company processesManage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipmentParticipate in product development meetings to provide input on quality standards and expectationsOversee the management of non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation, segregation, and dispositionConduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actionsLead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiencyProvide technical and statistical expertise to teamsEngage in supplier quality performance monitoring and improvement activitiesMaintain accurate quality documentation and recordsPrepare and present regular quality reports to managementEnsure compliance with industry regulations and standardsCollaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processesParticipate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiativesTrain staff on quality control measures and new protocolsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldCertification in Quality Control/Assurance is preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications)Proven experience (Minimum 5 Years) in quality control/assurance in the automotive or manufacturing sectorExperience with 5S and Lean thinking and methodsStrong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in the use of quality testing tools and softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a commitment to excellenceWhy Join BD Diesel· Opportunities with interesting challenges that lead to career development in future· Family-oriented, inclusive culture· On-Site Parking· Clean, positive & safe work environmentCheck out what others are saying about working at BD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYnF9buQzX8Our website: www.bddiesel.comWe greatly appreciate your interest as well as your application and will get back to you shortly after matching your skills to our requirements.
