Join us.Job SummaryNow, if you were to come onboard as our Quality Engineering Architect, we’d ask you to do the following for us:Conduct comprehensive analyses of current software development processes to identify quality gaps and areas for improvement. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address and remediate identified gaps.Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in testing both backend and frontend systems. Utilize advanced technical skills to identify and resolve complex quality challenges.Architect and implement effective quality assurance strategies within the AWS environment.Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes in AWS-based workflows.Optimize and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated testing.Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to streamline the testing and deployment processes.Champion the Shift Left approach to testing, ensuring early integration of quality assurance activities in the development lifecycle.Educate and guide development teams in adopting proactive testing practices.Propose and drive initiatives for continuous quality improvement.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and standards across the organization.Effectively communicate quality-related findings, improvements, and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Maintain clear and concise documentation of quality processes, methodologies, and improvements.Think you have what it takes to be our Quality Engineering Architect? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Software Quality Engineering ArchitectIn-depth knowledge of AWS services and experience in architecting QA solutions within the AWS ecosystem.Strong experience in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.Proven track record of identifying and implementing improvements in software development processes.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
