Job Description

Contract (Supplier) Quality EngineerOverall Purpose Responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of their organization. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), will actively participate in strategic development based on quality control plans. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will manage the supply chain, serve as liaison for suppliers, suggest quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment.May Report to QEC Manager/Site ManagerResponsibilities Client relationship & Business developmentUpdate customer with the necessary information (daily reports, protocols, statistics etc.)Oversee projects start to finish, be hands on and proactive in finding quality issuesAssist in the development and implementation of supplier programsRecommend and Implement cost-effective corrective actionsMaintain successful relationships with supplier, engineering, manufacturing, and otherAssisting operations in obtaining the correct information to kick off reworks, containments and any other value add to Stellantis mission we may be tasked with.
