Can-Tech Services is looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in the Vaughan area. Our client is a leading manufacturer that develops customized high-performance HVAC systems for vehicles and machinery in construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling and utility vehicle industries, making the driest or wettest surroundings and the most extreme hot or cold weather unnoticeable. Position: Quality Engineer. Position Type: Full-Time and Permanent Position directly with the client. Shift: Office Hours (Monday to Friday). Key Responsibilities: Lead investigation into customer complaints from the factory and field. Be the main point of contact to assigned customers. Suggest & implement improvements to current work instructions and procedures Use Statistical analysis to verify equipment capability where required Coordinate Dept. Change Management program (ECN/PCR/Deviations) processing Involved in Product, Process and Environmental audits Plant Nonconforming Material processing /Support Supplier returns Support Line calls / First Piece Inspections Hazardous waste and spill kit program support Additional tasks & responsibilities assigned by quality manager as required Benefits: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Leave 3% RRSP matching 100% Employee benefit plan including insurance. Basic Requirements: 1-2 years on the same or similar position Use Of Software ; Microsoft Products And Ability To Learn New Software Able To Read Drawings/Specifications/Technical Documents Support Continuous Improvement Activity Organizational Skills Good Communication Skills Support Quality And Environmental Programs Formal Training or Qualifications: College Diploma In Technology 2 Years Experience In The HVAC Field Or In Related Mfg.
