Your future team:

In this position as a Quality Engineer at ROCKWOOL Group Technology (Engineering), you will ensure that all ROCKWOOL factory production equipment designed by the project team is safe and compliant with regulations and requirements.

  • Ensure safe and compliant integration of new equipment into existing production lines.

  • Facilitate internal design risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100.

  • Optionally inspect supplier with project team before equipment dispatch (part of Factory Acceptance Test).

  • Although the projects are international, spanning the EU, US, Canada, and more, a significant majority of your tasks can be performed from our office in Poznań’s city center, Nowy Rynek.

Quality Management:

  • Review tender requirement specifications for external suppliers (contractors).

  • Ensure that suppliers deliver all agreed-upon equipment documentation within the contract.

What you bring:

The role of Quality Engineer requires a proactive mindset, with a focus on team collaboration and stakeholder management. You should possess a high level of communication, autonomy, decisiveness, and time management skills.

In addition, you should meet some of the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience with Machinery Safety (Functional Safety).

  • Strong focus on equipment documentation and the CE-marking process.

  • Solution-oriented approach.

  • Familiarity with Harmonized Standards of EU Directives.

  • Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineering experience.

  • Familiarity with functional safety aspects for production lines.

  • High level of communication skills in English (fluent in both speech and writing).

  • Knowledge of Pressure Equipment, Low Voltage, EMC, and ATEX Directives (will be an extra asset).

  • Knowledge of Steel Structure EN 1090 (will be an extra asset).

  • CMSE – Certified Machinery Safety Expert or other certificates related to machinery and functional safety (will be an added advantage).

We know you might not meet all the listed qualifications, but if you feel related to the above topics, contact us anyway – we might not know what we are missing by not having your skills onboard!
