Independent Contractor - Full time Engineering -Quality

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer, to work with the product owners and build new features, and help elevate the student experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to quality. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated test scripts.

What you’ll be doing

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.

Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure high-quality software releases.

Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.

Continuously improve test automation practices and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for test automation.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and software quality assurance.

Creating and maintaining Test Artifacts, test plans and test summary for every release.

What you need to succeed

Ability to technically break down tasks, develop, and deliver independently.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Strong communication skills both spoken and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Familiar with C#, .NET, and SQL.

A desire to change the world

Experience with or Knowledge of AI-based testing tools a plus
