Description:• Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exist• Actively seek continuous improvement and automation opportunities within the testing process• Acquire and apply expertise in the quality engineering discipline, provide guidance, assistance and direction to others• Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline• Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts• Collaboratively engage with relevant stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, to shift from finding defects to proactively preventing defects• Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite• May lead work streams by acting as a project lead / subject matter expert for small scale projects / initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies• Serve as a partner and provide ongoing support to the enterprise and/or business, aligning to TD Testing Methodology and QE best-practices• Analyze the end to end solution (business, solution requirements, architecture, blue prints, etc.) requirements to recommend pragmatic and sound test specific solutions for own area; may analyze, develop, debug, and maintain test suites (automated/ manual), traceability matrix; and log defects/assist in defect resolution, as required Job Requirements:• Breadth & Depth:o Experienced working professional role providing specialized testing planning, design, automation and execution serviceso Solid debugging and problem-solving skills – solving moderately complex problemso Supports the introduction and adherence to new / advanced techniques and approaches in testing and automation (e.g. BDD, Rapid Software Testing)o Foundational experience in software configuration and code managemento Intermediate expertise in build / code / release management to enable defect avoidanceo Solid business and technology acumen, works with other stakeholders to identify opportunities to benefit the Bank and / or introduce operational improvementso Ability to drive work efforts related to moderately complex applications / systems / projects within one product line / businesso Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance and directiono Collaborative team playero Future focused – foresees issues and gaps and identifies industry trends Summary Of Day To Day Responsibilities:• Working on system testing and integration project.
