About your next Challenge as a Quality Control Inspector:
MAPPS is seeking a Quality Control Inspector based in Montreal, QC to support operations in the Montreal, QC location.
What will you do:
- Maintain quality control in accordance with established guidelines and standards;
- Compare products (incoming, source/surveillance and outgoing inspection) with released engineering drawings, purchase orders and other contractual requirements as specified by the project authority;
- Ensure timely and orderly completion of inspections as required by the business;
- Document any deviations, lessons learned or non-conformances;
- Prepare written reports of inspection results in a timely manner;
- Evaluate responses to inspection reports and perform follow-ups with respondents, management, or others, if needed, to ensure resolution;
- Respond to customer issues and inquiries with appropriate sense of urgency and business criticality;
- Perform hardware configuration management;
- Participate in test and validation activities to ensure product’s design is verified with agreed requirements.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Military or Nuclear industry quality standards are considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset;
- Familiarity with hardware configuration management is an asset;

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRETsecurity clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
