Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga site is looking for a new Quality Assurance Manager to join our Contract Logistics team.Your RoleAs the Quality Assurance Manager, you will assume overall responsibility for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Quality Management System within the distribution site. This role will oversee and manage branch and business unit Quality functions employing knowledge including but not limited to: cGMP's, corporate policies and guidelines, company work instructions, client SOP's, and all the applicable Health Canada regulations associated with the functions (Distribution and/or Wholesaling) performed at the assigned business unit(s) (e.g. narcotic control, controlled drugs and substances, precursors, etc.). You will report to the National Quality Assurance Director.Your ResponsibilitiesBe the subject matter expertise for Quality matters Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed Communicate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure that quality control processes are aligned with business objectives Conduct investigations and take the lead in root cause analysis and corrective actions Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures Maintain employee awareness and compliance with Quality Monitor and advise on product quality matters Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identify, and assisting implementing improvements Lead Business Review meetings and presentations Manage the non-conformity and planned deviation process and oversee the execution of CAPA commitmentsIf you require an accommodation for the recruitment /interview process (including alternate formats of materials, or accessible meeting rooms or other accommodation), please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs. Your Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical 3PL Distribution centers/Warehouse environment 3+ years experience in a Quality Assurance managerial role 1+ years of Continuous Improvement experience using Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies Strong knowledge of Health Canada regulations, employment standards, legislation, common workplace hazards, and associated controls Knowledge of quality systems (GMP, ISO, etc.) Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint, and can maintain complex Excel spreadsheets Good Reasons to JoinThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
