Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Developer to join our team! In this role, you will help automate testing for the Algo Device Management Platform, enhancing the quality and efficiency of our processes. You will be automating tests for existing features and develop comprehensive test plans for future enhancements.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and implement automated test scripts for React web applications under various browsers
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Maintain and keep test scripts up-to-date while new features are being added
- Create and maintain documentation for automated test scripts
Qualification & Skills
- BSc in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience in a matching position
- 3+ years of experience in QA test automation
- Professional experience with PlayWright
- Experience with scripting test suites for web applications using automated testing frameworks (e.g. TestCafe, Selenium, Jest, Puppeteer, etc.)
- Experience evaluating processes and implementing best practices
- Experience with React
- Experience with various web stack-related languages (e.g. PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL)
- Experience writing and reviewing unit and feature tests
Bonus Skills/Experience:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA
- Knowledge of SDLC best practices, including version control, QA, build/release management, CI, and automated testing
- Experience in a Linux environment
- Experience developing applications for embedded systems in C
