Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a QA Analyst (IT Service Management) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and maintain clear, concise and comprehensive test cases/plans
  • Ensure test cases are testable and cover across a wide range of components
  • Create and set up test data to achieve solid and reliable test coverage
  • Execute manual test cases according to test strategy/plan and project schedule
  • Document test results and provide results to both internal technology/business teams as well as external vendor program stakeholders
  • Ongoing interaction with project team members and 3rd party ITSM systems providers to confirm/clarify business requirements of new and/or existing functionalities
  • Work with the development team to diagnose and find root cause of issues
  • Detect, report, and track software/web application defects

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of recent experience as an IT QA Analyst with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.
  • Recent and demonstrated experience supporting the manual testing process related to the migration and integration of new users and vendors to an established ITSM system.
  • Strong background and knowledge in writing and organizing manual test cases including a strong background and knowledge in creating/writing operational handbooks related to ITSM systems and processes.

Assets

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM is a strong asset
  • Experience working closely with 3rd party ITSM system providers and system provider test teams is an asset
