Our client located inMississauga, Ontariohas an immediate opening for aPurchasing & Materials ManagerPay Rate:Negotiable based on experienceDuties:Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies.Plan and organize production schedules & material planning.Manage the procurement of materials and services required for the organization’s operations.Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.Manage inventory levels by analyzing data to identify trends to ensure the availability of raw materials and finished goods and optimize inventory levels.Develop and maintain a system for tracking and reporting on procurement and production activitiesEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsDevelop and manage a team of purchasing and material planners.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in purchasing and materials managementStrong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contractsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of CMS/Epicor or equivalent ERP systemComputer skills, specifically Excel, Word, and Microsoft Power pointStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience managing inventory levels and implementing procurement policiesKnowledge of relevant regulations and standardsApplyingPlease submit resumes tochris@halliwellconsulting.comincluding salary expectations and availability or contactChris Halliwell@ 1 877-737-6562 extension 108.Job Number1984#J-18808-Ljbffr
