Opportunity knocks As our Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of our Purchasing team. The Purchasing Manager will analyze, develop, monitor, lead strategic re-ordering, planning as well as execute Inventory management activities. We are looking for a strategic leader who can take on the challenge of strengthening our procurement/sourcing programs and processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-driven individual that develops and implements strategic sourcing processes, contract/vendor management practices, and drives areas of continuous improvement. This position can be located in Vancouver or Mississauga, and will be a hybrid role – 3 days in office/2 days remote. Your story As the ideal candidate, you bring a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in supply chain/procurement including leadership in governance, process and systems. You are a leader with strong emotional intelligence who can innovate, inspire, empower and coach others. You possess strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. You are an excellent communicator with strong cross-functional collaborative relationship building skills, and have demonstrated experience in quantitative analytics. You complement your experience with a College or University degree in the areas of Procurement, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related discipline. Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check.
