Job Description

Hassey Property Group, a prominent Barrie & surrounding area property management group, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the Property Manager is responsible for providing condominium, commercial and residential property management services to a portfolio of managed properties. This is a full-time, in office role. A competitive compensation package and group benefitsOpportunities for development and advancement A welcoming and supportive work environment like no otherDuties & ResponsibilitiesBuilds and maintains healthy relationships with owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors Acts as the primary point of contact for owner inquiries; coordinates notices & corresponds with admin staffPerforms periodic property inspections; coordinates repairs, regular maintenance, capital projects, and communicates regular updates to all stakeholdersDevelops, maintains, and implements preventative maintenance schedules tailored to each propertyPrepares leasing documentation and manages all other legal & regulatory obligationsMonitors on site personnel and conducts periodic performance reviewsCoordinates annual general meetings, board meetings, and other special meetings as requiredCoordinates annual budgets for portfolio properties, reserve fund studies, and performance auditsMatches invoices to approved purchase orders and code accordinglyResponds to emergency situations outside of regular business hours, when requiredQualifications2-5 years of experience in a similar role managing condominium, commercial and residential propertiesPost-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or a combination of education and experienceMust have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for regular travelMust hold a valid Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) general licenseExperience with Yardi property management software considered an assetStrong analytical aptitude and business acumenExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and foster strong working relationshipsProactive and dedicated; takes ownership of projects and drives them to completionDetail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectivelyThank you for your interest in our position.
