Our dynamic client is looking for a Property Administrator to support their Property Management department. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter with strong administrative and interpersonal skills to join this passionate, hard-working team.

This role requires managing diverse tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting, emphasizing attention to detail, organizational prowess, and effective problem-solving.

Ideal candidates will possess commercial real estate experience and robust administrative capabilities to operate independently. They should be eager to grasp internal processes, take initiative, and maintain optimal workflow through proactive critical thinking.

A polished, professional demeanor is essential, complementing their ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and represent our client positively both internally and externally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor monthly rent payments and communicate with tenants as needed
  • Collaborate with other Property Administrators to deliver monthly rent receipt reports
  • Draft tenant communications regarding rent adjustments, recoveries, insurance, and other relevant topics
  • Maintain records of lease expirations and rent changes, providing advance notice to the Property Manager about upcoming events
  • Process quotations, invoices, and claims related to completed work
  • Prepare annual operating budgets and tenant recovery budgets, conducting monthly comparisons with actual expenses
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of the tenant, property, and key contact database (MPI database).
  • Perform administrative tasks including handling expense reports, VISA reconciliation, updating the website, and arranging travel

Education:

  • Relevant post secondary education is considered a strong asset

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Property Administration role is required
  • Previous experience in health and safety administration is considered an asset

Base Salary:$60,000 – $75,000

  • Salary varies depending on experience
  • Full benefits package

Work Hours:

  • 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Monday to Friday

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
