Our client is searching for a Property Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for providing accurate accounting services. A successful candidate will become a key member of the accounting team. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager.Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability ToComplete the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of multi-tenant propertiesAssist with regular, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingAssist with preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages for properties, which includes a balance sheet, income statement, supporting schedules, and capital expenditure analysisProvide accounts analysis, prepare variance analysis, maintain accurate and complete records and files, and respond to client enquiries as necessary and on a regular basisProvide support to operationsCollaborate on projects to develop and implement new systems, reports, and tools, and tests these tools to identify any issuesDevelop non-standard reports and statements according to guidelinesYour strengths include: 5+ years of full cycle accounting experienceStrong technical proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Microsoft ExcelExperience with Yardi or other property management accounting software is an assetExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem solving skillsHigh attention to detailTime management and organizational skillsAbility to build strong working relationships and operate effectively in a team environmentIf you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the “Apply” button to send your resume directly to Vicky Vu.Recruitment Partners Inc. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
