You will work closely withcross-functional teams to develop and implement effective HSE programs andinitiatives. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, andregulatory compliance will contribute to creating a safe and sustainable workenvironment. You will report directly to our Sr. HSE Engineer, and youll work out of ourMarkham, ON location on a remote work schedule. Extensive travel may benecessary as the project will take place throughout the province of Ontario. In this role, you will impact the organization by:Developing and implementing HSE policies and proceduresConducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazardsLeading incident investigations and implementing corrective actionsEnsuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations, as wellas customer requirementsLiaison between Customer andHoneywellProviding appropriate reports tocustomerProviding HSE training and awareness programs to employeesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement inHSE performanceKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement HSE policiesand proceduresConduct risk assessments and identifypotential hazardsLead incident investigations andimplement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with local,provincial, and federal regulationsProvide HSE training and awarenessprograms to employeesCollaborate with cross-functionalteams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performanceTravel throughout Ontario is a part of this roleYOU MUST HAVEBachelors degree in OccupationalHealth and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field or equivalentelectrical field work experience on a year for year basis.3+ years of experience in HSE roleKnowledge of local, provincial, andfederal HSE regulations and standardsValid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle RecordCustomer required background verification checks must be completed and approval maintainedWE VALUEProfessional certification in HSE(e.g., CSP, CIH)Experience in field work environmentStrong communication andinterpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in across-functional teamAdditional InformationJOB ID: HRD231947Category: Health, Safety & EnvironmentRelocation Tier: Not ApplicableSecurity Clearance: Aviation Authority (FAA for US): Band: 03Referral Bonus: 1500Requisition Type: Standard RequisitionUS Citizenship: FLSA Statement: FLSA CODE: Exempt
