Title: Technical Project/Program Manager IV

The Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) Technical Program Manager (TPM) role
is an impactful role ensuring engineering teams achieve business outcomes. Our TPM works across
the PSET domain areas to formulate and successfully deliver technical solutions, is responsible for
complex program and initiative delivery from planning through execution, including delivery
forecasting, managing risks, dependencies, and alignment with stakeholders. In this role, you will
engage with Autodesk divisional leadership, cross functional teams within PSET, another Autodesk
product teams to drive strategy planning, alignment, engagement, and execution of programs. You
will tackle challenging business & technical problems and build the foundation that will allow PSET to accelerate the delivery of Autodesk capabilities in geographic regions across the world.
Responsibilities
Facilitate alignment between Autodesk divisional leadership, divisions, teams, functions, and
stakeholders.
Drive alignment of cross organizations initiatives through OKR planning, dependency management, and impediment removal.
Work with all the stakeholders to shape strategy and requirements and serve as a communication
focal point on complex programs.
Plan and ensure delivery by engaging with engineering leadership and teams to build clear delivery plans.
Partner cross-functional development team efforts on providing technical solutions from design
through delivery.
Drive automation of delivery processes that span across the design, development, and operations
to create transparency and a single source of truth.
Ensure collaboration and synchronization of efforts.
Manage Risks, drive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation to address potential roadblocks, in partnership with leadership.
Be an agent of change by driving relentless improvement with data and science-based, Kaizen
culture.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or Computer Science or a related field
Approximately 7 plus years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Technical Product Manager or Software Architect or similar role, driving software development projects, with an
increasing the amount of responsibility.
Extensive experience working directly with software engineering teams on highly complex initiatives involving multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment, using Agile methodologies.
Solid understanding of Cloud Services and Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Good technical background and aptitude, detail-driven, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad audience, including executive leadership.
Zeal for process and operational excellence.
Desire to continue to learn and challenge yourself.
Outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
Ability to leverage technical tools to scale programs and solutions.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience with the development of authentication, authorization, and user access systems.
Hands-on experience managing efforts related to Security technologies, including compliance
efforts (SOX, SOC 2, FedRAMP).
Possess solid technical aptitude and business acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence
senior leadership to deliver business outcomes.
Action oriented and strong execution in managing and driving teams to deliver commitments.
Confident in challenging ideas and communicating opinions, while respecting others to align on
optimum result.
Operate both high-level strategy and vision as well as develop detail large complex cross-functional
Plans.
Ability to impart a sense of urgency and influence your leaders and peers.
Proactive in stakeholder management and establishing relationships with stakeholders.
