We are looking for a Project Planner - Risk Specialist
We are currently collaborating with a company to find a Project Planner - Risk Specialist to join our team at either the Bruce Power Nuclear site or the Bruce Power off-site office. The Project Planner will play a key role in offering Project Management support at the project, program, or division level. They will be tasked with ensuring that the projects/programs they are assigned to adhere to approved processes, tools, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in the preparation and maintenance of planning and control/cost engineering functions.
- Prepare or assist with estimates, review variance, and sanction support documentation.
- Facilitate Work Breakdown Structure development meetings and project team dynamics.
- Develop multi-level project/program schedules and perform financial calculations.
- Establish major project/program milestones and provide coordination and consulting services.
- Conduct financial risk analysis and prepare Scheme Paper.
- Collect, assemble, and summarize project budget data for business planning submissions.
- Produce cost, schedule, and resource reports for staffing plans and resource planning decisions.
- Conduct periodic sensitivity analysis for the overall program.
- Prepare project/program summary reports for the management team.
- Ensure planning and control documentation aligns with engineering, economic, and Project Management principles.
Experience:
Education: Minimum 3-year diploma/degree in business management/engineering/technology.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in project risk, an RMP designation is an asset.
Other Requirements: Previous Nuclear experience, security clearance, and understanding or experience with mechanical or electrical components/design are assets.
