Since 1923, Pritchard has been a leading Canadian supplier of custom power solutions. Pritchard is the exclusive distributor of Kohler Power Systems for Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Our Mississauga branch is looking to hire: Project Manager/Inside Sales Responsibilities Register new projects in Pritchard databases Prepare bids / tender submissions (Accurate Costing / Bill of Material). Evaluate sub-contractors and vendors quotes for accuracy and completion. Aggressively promote Kohler product line. Research market to develop a contractor bidders list on each project to ensure all interested contractors receive a proposal. Negotiate pricing with suppliers and electrical contractors to close the deals and achieve the assigned budget. Collaborate with the engineering team to submit the shop drawings for approval. Manage projects from time of order to project completion Comply with specifications and Liaise with OEM throughout all project phases (Execution / Monitoring & Control and Closure.) Coordinate with the production team at Pritchard & Local Suppliers to meet project cost and schedule baselines. Communicate effectively with contractors on deliverables and final acceptance. Schedule commissioning / Plan Factory and site Witness Tests Maintain good customer relations; intervene to solve problems and disputes; look for ways enhance customer relations. Keep up with new products and developments / Bulletin relevant to products sold. Complete all Kohler mandatory training programs on time. Work in a cooperative manner with customers, team members and management. Meet and respond to the needs of assigned customers in a professional and timely manner. Report competitive activities and maintain Pritchard’s competitive advantage. Evaluate and manage project issues, changes, and risks. Identify constraints and potential problem areas, explore process alternatives, maximize project profit margin and control cost. Develop, review and submit reports to Management. (Updated sales log, Monthly forecast and keep the CRM up to date) Qualifications Post secondary education in a relevant engineering field. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in generator project management and/or generator sales. Computer proficiency and a thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, at an intermediate level, is required. The capability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written is necessary. A working knowledge of French would be an asset. Compensation A competitive base salary Quarterly Commission OTE $100K
