Job Title: Project Manager - Wood-Frame Multi-Family

Location:

Vancouver, British Columbia

Salary: $130,000 to $170,000

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager with wood-frame multi-family experience to join our client's team.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wood-frame multi-family construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage all aspects of wood-frame multi-family construction projects from conception to completion.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.

Procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.

Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.

Ensure projects are completed in accordance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.

Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.

Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among project team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is considered an asset.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on wood-frame multi-family construction.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with local building regulations and permit processes in the Greater Vancouver area is preferred.

PMP or other relevant certifications are a considered an asset.
