Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the MEP team of the Buildings, based in Markham, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you Leads the design team for single or multi-discipline design projects.

Serves as prime point of contact for clients, sub-consultants, and subcontractors.

Develops design schedules and quality assurance plans to ensure project deliverables.

Works with MEP Manager on manpower analysis, budgeted hours, and future business development.

Leads or coordinates the design and construction meetings, prepares agendas and minutes as required.

Peer reviews design deliverables by other team members and mentors junior staff.

Communicates with exp management relative to project status and performance as required.

Provides marketing support and presentations.

Prepares client/exp agreement; defines scope, schedule and attends negotiation meetings.

Handles project financials including agreement terms, changes in scope, project billings, and project profitability.

Monitors performance of the project and communicates potential changes to the client.

Implements internal exp policies bearing on client relations.

What your experience looks like Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience including managing project design teams, proposals, and project budgets.

Working knowledge of the building code, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.

Experience with system design from concept to construction documents, including but not limited to HVAC, steam system/plant, plumbing, fire protection, medical gas systems desired.

Experience working on Healthcare and Transit/Transportation projects is desired.

Demonstrate the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, dealing with multiple projects and clients.

Registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) as a P. Eng. PMP or LEED AP credential will be considered an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project products).

Proficiency with REVIT will be considered an asset.
