WestCorp Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Client in Rocanville, SK. This position would work 8 days on, 6 days off. Based on the successful candidate’s unique situation, there may be other incentives that could be applicable.Responsibilities:The Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, design, and coordination for mine and surface operations, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure safe and effective project plans. This role requires strong team leadership skills, communication abilities, and expertise in document control, revision, and project management processes.Execute project ideas into standard deliverable products for the stage gate process.Define clear and achievable project objectives with the Portfolio Manager.Collect and document project requirements from stakeholders.Create integrated project planning documents with the team and stakeholders.Identify and manage project risks.Facilitate the creation of required stage deliverables.Ensure that all milestones and key deliverables within a stage are reviewed and accepted by stakeholders.Complete financial approval documents.Monitor and control project performance for cost, schedule, scope, and quality.Manage change requests through the Integrated Change Control procedure.Communicate project performance and changes with stakeholders.Ensure deliverables for each stage are completed and ready for approval.Ensure all funding request documents are complete and ready for submission.Document change order requests before seeking approval.Provide expertise and consultation.Create and document onsite safe work procedures for new asset acquisition or major process changes.Budget, procure, and specify equipment, tools, and devices for capital and major maintenance projects.Actively participate in development and implementation initiatives, addressing site concerns as needed.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent (engineering, project management)4-8 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Project EngineerBackgrounds in Electrical Engineering considered an asset.Experience budgeting for capital and major maintenance projects.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.PMP credential or formal project management training would be considered an asset.Potash mine experience preferred.We thank you so much for your interest in working with us.Due to the high volume of applications received, we genuinely regret that we are unable to respond to each one individually.
