Being a Project Manager also means working in synergy with our engineering, sales, estimating and operations teams to offer marine solutions adapted to our clients needs.Permanent job - 40 hours per week;Paid vacations during the holiday season and anticipated vacation weeks;Free employee assistance program;Pension plan with employer contribution;Possibility of teleworking;Career opportunities;Work equipment provided;Social club and corporate events;Assistance with relocation if necessary.YOUR TYPICAL DAYReporting to the Director - Marine Works and Rental, you will have to:Take charge of the projects assigned to you and organize the opening review;Maintain communication with the client and operations throughout the projects;Set up projects in SAP in accordance with the budget established at the time of tender;Review the progress of projects and project costs on a regular basis with the Project Manager;Review the project budget and validate deviations from the initial budget with the Project Manager and implement corrective actions;Participate in the estimation of work in terms of materials, human resources, equipment and execution time in order to help the estimation department to develop cost-effective and cost-competitive bids;Participate in the production of all necessary documents (contracts, bonds, addendums, insurance, etc.);Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUECollege degree in civil engineering (other relevant training or experience may be considered);Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar role, primarily in construction or civil engineering project management and estimation;Advanced levels of French and English, both verbal and written;Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and estimating software.COMPANY DESCRIPTIONFounded in 1972, Ocean Group is a thriving, inspiring company with the wind in its sails!
