Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager? Come join our team. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for handling construction projects. You will be working closely with your project team to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in construction project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

Responsibilities:

· Plan all phases of the construction project lifecycle from initiation to completion.

· Communicate with clients and delivers project progress reports.

· Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.

· Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.

· Collaborate with the Site Supervisor and Project Coordinator to ensure the schedule and deliverables of the project.

· Ensure the order of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.

· Obtains all necessary permits.

· Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.

· Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations collaborating with the relevant internal and external resources.

· Update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

· Ensure the timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties.

· Ability to manage and mitigate risks.

Your Qualifications & Skills Include

· A proven work experience in project management of ICI, retail, ground up projects, experience at an airport an asset.

· The ability to build strong relationships with clients, project team members and contractors.

· The ability to lead a team by being an effective communicator and fostering a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together.

· Excellent time management and organization skills.

· Critical-thinking and problem-solving.

· Competent in conflict and crisis management.

· Experience using Microsoft Project.

· Education in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related degree.

· Valid Health & Safety certifications.

· Project Management certification, an asset.

· Min 5 years of construction project management experience.
