Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com), a leading North American Engineering firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our client, a renowned European technology group specializing in construction services. This client brings vast experience in large-scale underground and ground engineering projects, with a focus on both hard- and soft-ground tunnel excavation, delivered by a team of highly qualified professionals.
In this role, the Project Manager will lead and coordinate the commercial and financial administration of construction projects, ensuring effective budget management, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include liaising across departments to drive project alignment with company policies and contractual obligations, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Location: Scarborough & Mississauga Ontario
Work Model: On-site
Key Skills and Expertise:
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial project management and financial administration in the construction industry.
- Strong accounting acumen; fluency in English (German is an asset).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SUN, and AS400 accounting systems; knowledge of MS Dynamics is an advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential matters professionally in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project financial management.
- Proven track record in commercial project oversight and budget control.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Willingness to travel within Canada.
