We are looking for creative andtalented professionals to join our team.Apply for this job Job Opportunity Description Our Client is seeking a Project Manager with capability to take on a variety of projects that are application focused and may include upgrades to existing COTS or custom applications, mobile application development, or installments of new software.Location is in Edmonton, Alberta.Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office is required. Skills Project Management Type Contract Experience Required/Mandatory Skills Minimum 7 years of project management experienceSuccessful direct management of IT projects ranging from $250,000 to $5,000,000, with at least 2-3 projects above $2 million dollars rangeProven ability to manage project financials and develop regular forecasts within a defined budgetProven ability to deliver clear and concise project documentationProven ability to communicate with all levels of management, both verbally and in writingProven ability to work within standard procedures and methodologiesAbility to demonstrate high level functional and/or technical understanding of the scope of their projectsAbility to provide input into procedure and methodology improvementAbility to forecast resource effort effectivelyProven success at managing and controlling the scope of projects through effective change control and scope management processesAbility to pick up projects mid-stream and deliver the projects to successful completionExperience with both agile and waterfall methodologies Nice To Have Skills PMP, and or PMI Certification is an assetPrevious experience managing projects containing significant Business Process re-engineering and Change Management is an asset Location Edmonton/Hybrid Work Environment 12 months with possibility of extension Hourly Rate Negotiable Apply for this Job Please correct the errors below and try again.
