They will also support operational analysis and troubleshooting of Secures 70+ oil terminals, waste management facilities and pipeline systems.This role is based out of Calgary, AlbertaThe TeamThe individual will work closely with a variety of Secures internal teams including Projects Development & Execution, Operations Projects, Supply Chain, Integrity, Operations, Measurement & Quality, as well as external teams such as EPCMs, equipment vendors and contractors.This position is based in the office on a full-time basis.A Day in The LifeSupervise & review FEED and detailed design work done by 3rd party EPCM’s on facilities & pipeline systems, with a focused specialty in EI&C, mechanical and or pipeline scopes of workSupport Project development phases with initial scope, budget, and schedule creation within area of technical specialtiesLead & support the specification, selection, procurement, and installation of mechanical equipment including pumps, tanks, piping and related components; and E&IC equipment, including flow meters, instrumentation, flow computers, control systems, power distribution equipment, MCCs & VFDs and sampling equipmentLead equipment RFQs, construction work package development, technical bid evaluations and contractor management as requiredLead medium to large sized capital projects ($5M - $50M); accountable for budget, schedule, quality, and safe hand over to operationsProvide back office operational technical supportDefine QA/QC requirements for engineered productsIdentify opportunities and risks to the project; develop plans to capitalize on or mitigate themProvide technical support to the project team during start-up & commissioningAbility and willingness to travel to site throughout Western Canada as requiredSkills, Experience, & QualificationsThe individual in this role will have:P.
