Project Manager – Industrial and Infrastructure

Our team in Canada is growing, and we are recruiting a Project Manager to support our Infrastructure service offerings in the Burlington office.
About the role:
· Lead the preparation of comprehensive and realistic plans for tender, evaluation and award of procurement and contract packages, delivery of equipment and materials to site, and execution of construction and commissioning services on site.
· Coordinate engineering and procurement efforts for timely preparation, evaluation and recommendation of procurement packages.
· Coordinate multi-discipline efforts for timely preparation, evaluation and recommendation of sub-contract packages, including direct responsibility for preparation of Scope of Work and other Tender Schedules.
· Manage interfaces between engineering, contracts, and the construction team to resolve construction issues impeding progress, including missing information, material deliveries, site instructions, and contract variations required on site.
· Monitor project cost, progress and schedule reports and coordinate action plans to correct deviations from plan
· Manage client relationships for potential and existing projects and interface directly with sub-consultants, and vendors
· Prepare technical specifications, equipment lists, material lists, and supporting design files.
· Prepare plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates for various engineering phases, from studies to detailed design, and construction support.
· Contribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines to coordinate technical information.
· Prepare physical layouts of plant and equipment, diagrams, schematics and balance of services for new plant processes and lines.
· Deliver mechanical engineering design according to required project timeframes and standards while adhering to design specifications.
· Guide designers in preparing layouts and production of design drawings by providing technical assistance and reviewing and approving drawings in a timely manner.
About you:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
· Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
· Experience in developing, delivering, and operating industrial projects.
· Over 15 years of engineering consulting experience, including field investigations, design, and construction support.
· At least 5 years of specific consulting experience.
· Experience in designing piping systems, selecting pumps, and preparing equipment layouts.
· Skilled in working with clients to understand their needs and build strong relationships.
· Ability to collaborate with Senior Project Managers and Discipline Leads to execute projects.
· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
· Valid driver's license.
