We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Enterprise Program Management Office. In this role, you are expected to provide support to the CI Financial Group of Companies with planning, executing, and successfully implementing program components of medium complexity, while adhering to deadlines and approved budgets. This role will be required to coordinate the efforts of extended CI team members, third-party contractors and /or consultants in order to deliver projects/programs according to the approved plan(s). You will also work in conjunction with the Program Manager(s) to coordinate program activates within each program to ensure the successful achievement of the common delivery goal. The EPMO is responsible for program and project management and oversight of product, regulatory and corporate initiatives. You will support ongoing Project Management standards, processes, and process improvement activities. Your role within the EPMO support the management of integrating planning activities by reviewing plans provided by various IT and business delivery project managers. You will actively assist the Program Manager in managing the successful coordination and execution of large and complex project requests with regular status reporting to delivery teams, program governance, program sponsor and executive management. With direction from the Program Manager, you will be required to perform the project management functions of directing, controlling, planning and communicating with extended delivery teams throughout each phase of the program delivery.WHAT YOU WILL DO Support EPMO processes including onboarding, impact assessment and estimation coordination Ensuring program and project updates are timely and accurate Provide support to the Program Manager in identifying deliverables and developing milestones for programs Support the documentation of all program events and milestones Support the preparation of overall program plan Assist Program Manager with meeting facilitation, documentation and communication Oversee the implementation of assigned projects Coordinate with IT project managers and delivery teams to ensure the activities of all project teams are on track Communicate to stakeholders and project teams on a regular basis Ensure each project follows the organizations standard procedures Identifying processes and procedures for improvement WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Management of Information Systems preferred Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP) or in progress of working towards a project management designation Understanding of agile and scaled agile practices and holding certifications (e.g. CSM) is an asset3+ years working in the financial industry (is an asset) with at least 3 years in a management capacity. 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, JIRA Software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good at Planning and organizing Excellent communication skills Ability to influence and motivate othersCI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms.
