The successful candidate will have experience in modernizing education management practices, particularly in strengthening evidence-based governance, setting up education management information systems (EMIS) and integrating information technologies into education reforms.Mandate: Focused on delivering solutions to C2D Services' clients, the successful candidate will identify benefits, anticipate difficulties, plan the necessary resources and use his/her analytical skills to understand the causes, make recommendations, organize and plan in order to put in place mechanisms that will lead teams of specialists to define and implement solutions within education and TVET system reforms.Working closely with the Director of the Education and Training Sector, the resource person will be responsible in particular for:·       ensuring the planning, results monitoring, quality control, evaluation and reporting of projects.·       helping to draw up the strategy for developing services and technological solutions.·       contributing to the development of technical and financial services.·       participate in the marketing of C2D Services' services and technological solutions and contribute to their continuous improvement. Client: C2D Services Inc. Type of position: Open-ended contractStart date: As soon as possible.Workplace: Face-to-face with telecommuting (workspace in C2D Services' offices in Montreal and regular travel in the countries where we operate).Desired professional profile: -       University degree at master’s level in project management, business administration, operations management, education, vocational and technical training, or any other related discipline.-       Professional accreditations or certifications in project management, AGILE, change management, information and communications technology, EMIS, or any other related field, would be an asset.-       At least eight (8) years of professional experience relevant to the mandate.-       Fluency in spoken and written French and English.-       Ability to use management and collaborative software (TEAMS, Suite Office, Confluence, Jira, Vantage Point would be an asset) and information technology in general.-       Strong knowledge of education and TVET reform, organizational development, governance and EMIS.-       Ability to analyze markets and think strategically in the context of business, sector and service line development.-       Ability to organize and deliver projects involving multidisciplinary professionals and technicians.-       Ability to work with a wide range of partners and clients, including government bodies, international donors (World Bank, African Development Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation and donor agencies) and the private sector.-       - Ability to lead technical and steering committees.-       - Outstanding and proven skills in operational management, human resources management and project management.-       - Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills. Remuneration: will be based on the experience and skills profile of the person selected and on the firm's salary policy.
