Job Description:On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Project Manager who has experience with full cycle CIS implementations within provincial health authorities.Responsibilities: • Work with clients and internal teams to define and establish project scope and requirements, create solutions, and develop an executable plan, accounting for resource needs, timelines, and costs.• Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders at various levels, including clinicians, IT teams, healthcare administrators, and regulatory bodies.• Manage scope, requirements, resources, time, cost, quality, risks, and communications for on-time, on-budget, high-quality project delivery.• Drive structure and content for Project Status meetings and Steering Committee meetings with key Client stakeholders• Report status and progress of assigned activities to program management as required.• Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.• Other roles, tasks and duties as assigned.Qualifications: • Post-secondary education in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Management, Public or Business Administration.• Direct project management experience with proven experience in managing healthcare IT projects, with a specific focus on CIS implementation or clinical standardization.• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English. Bilingualism required.• 5 years of demonstrated experience with a focus on health information systems, healthcare operations, technology, and/or software.• Experience planning and overseeing clinical system-related projects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget and according to the agreed scope of delivery.• Experience leading projects through the full lifecycle using adaptive (agile) and predictive (waterfall) modes.• Demonstrated expertise employing project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.• Experience working with cross functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external resources and stakeholders.• Demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.• Demonstrated experience leading large transformational projects (over 2 years in duration) requiring the consolidation of multiple applications and tools.• Current Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PRINCE2 designation or other industry-recognized project management accreditation. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment.Affinity Earn: Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
