Theprimary purpose of this role is for client service while maintaining and improving the work environment within the GeoVerra Team.This position has significant impact with external clients and internal team members, and therefore needs to be connected and live out the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values through actions and results.What you will do:Manage client expectations and ensure project deliverables, schedules and budget objectives are met;Maintain active and professional communication with external clients, internal clients and staff;Plan and execute upstream oil and gas projects. Work with field, production and project delivery teams to ensure smooth and efficient management of projects;Demonstrate an understanding of all regulatory and technical requirements for your projects;Certify and take professional responsibility for surveys performed;Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed;Actively participate in and contribute on an on-going basis to GeoVerra’s Health, Safety and Environment Program;Conduct field safety audits as part of our safety program commitments;Manage project financial requirements including timely and accurate invoicing;Improve profitability of projects through coordination, schedule and scope management;Other responsibilities as assigned.What you will bring: Alberta Land Surveyor designation is required;Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, B.Sc. in Geomatics or related discipline;Previous project management experience with experience in upstream oil and gas projects;Strong awareness of project budget, scope and primary tasks to maintain project schedules;Demonstrated interpersonal and leaderships skills and the ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organization; Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to work without supervision; effective time management and strong organizational skills;Computer literate; proficient in Windows; MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications;Ability to work to deadlines and see tasks through to completion;Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;Canada Land Surveyor or other provincial Land Surveyor designations considered an asset;Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across Alberta as required;Safety sensitive position and will require the successful candidate to complete a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol test.What we offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits coverage, vacation, wellness days, and RRSP matching contributions Tools and services to support your mental wellness Flexible workplace program to suit your needs Work-life balance Growth and advancement opportunities Paid professional dues Continuing education and professional development Use of leading-edge technology and equipmentDiverse projects and a fast-paced working environmentPlease contact careers@geoverra.com if you have any questions about this role.
