Job Description

Job purpose The Project Lead is responsible for the management of all projects on specific account mandates and acts as the key contact between the Agency and the client. The Project Lead manages the entire project management process through Creative, Production and Operations to deliver the highest quality work in the fastest, most cost-effective manner. The Project Lead builds solid professional relationships and personal connections with clients.Duties and responsibilities Client Relationship Management:• Keep clients up to date on all projects and discuss issues with them• Ensure all client requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner• Assist in soliciting the client’s perspective on key measures of success• Keep all agency departments informed on client/account developments• Keep Product Lead informed on projects• Proactive at initiating projects internally• Keep abreast of all client industry developments and competition• Analyze competitive communication and prepare draft client documents for reviewProject Management:Develop internal briefing documentsManage all day-to-day account activities, internal and externalPlay an active role in the creative development of projectsParticipate in marketing planning and assume responsibility for execution and alloperational aspects of projectsPrepare & track specific project management documents (briefs, timeline, estimates, status)Review all creative/production material at every stagePrepare all project-related instructionsDevelop all media/list plansManage all estimates from preparation to client approvalAnalyze campaign results and prepare post-analysis for review by senior account teammemberAssist account team members, and assist on other accountsAdministrative ResponsibilitiesResponsible for set-up and maintenance of account administration tools & materials:central files/server, reference materials, etc.Update weekly status meetingsUnderstand financial terminology and factors that can impact a project budgetTrack project performance against estimateDraft agendas for client meetingsInvoicingQualifications:University degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Commerce or Science3+ years of experience in an account management / agency roleStrong understanding of 360 Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing & Email MarketingDemonstrated interest and passion for communications/relationship marketing/digitalDetail oriented with outstanding organizational, time management and multi-tasking skillsin a fast-paced environmentStrong client management skillsProactive and independent problem solverExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and FrenchStrong presentation skills, both internally and with clientsWorks collaboratively in a team environmentNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
