This provides RCS with the unique opportunity to service their clients effectively across Western Canada with future ambitions to expand east!Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our project management teams and oversee our portfolio of commercial construction projects. This strategic role involves guiding project execution to ensure excellence in delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Project Director will serve as a senior leadership figure, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving the expansion of RCS's services.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement project strategies to meet or exceed company objectives for quality, budget, and timelines.Lead and mentor project managers and teams, enhancing their capabilities and project delivery outcomes.Engage in high-level negotiations with clients, stakeholders, and partners, building robust relationships that foster business growth.Ensure adherence to RCS's standards for safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all projects.Drive innovation in project management processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Report directly to the executive leadership team, providing insights and strategic recommendations for business advancement.Qualifications:Demonstrated leadership in a project director or similar role within the commercial construction industry with a minimum of 10 years of experience.A strong foundation in construction management, engineering, or a related field with advanced education preferred.Proven track record of successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and team leadership.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel as needed and manage projects across multiple locations.Desired CompetenciesStrategic Decision-Making – Making critical decisions related to project governance, such as adjusting budgets and allocating resources.Business Acumen – Excellent business understanding Leadership - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving project goals.Detail Orientated – Takes pride in a job well done. Knows when to dive into the details but also when a quick overview is all that is needed.Organized – Both with time and work. Keeps work site tidy and organized.Communication – Can communicate well with all levels of stakeholders.
