Job Description

The Project Designer, Splashpads works in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to producing high-impact proposals for aquatic play park projects. He/she is responsible for the visual presentation portion of these proposals by creating 3D renderings. Responsibilities

  • Review the proposal design documents
  • Plan work according to customer requirements and company standard
  • Evaluate proposed layouts in the design guide and propose/discuss any changes with sales teammates
  • Communicate with sales teammates or directly with the client to obtain information or clarifications on needs
  • Prepare 3D renderings of aquatic play park that meet the final specifications, adding visual effects such as scenery, water effects and characters
  • Transfer the 3D drawing into AutoCAD for technical drawings showing the water effects
  • Participate in special projects
  • Perform other related duties as required

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of 3DS Max and VRay
  • SolidWorks and Unreal is an asset
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to manage time and priorities and work at a fast pace
  • Attention to detail and team player
  • Able to read architectural plans
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and colors
  • Good communicator in both French and English

Experience and Training

  • Degree in Industrial design, Architectural Technology, Architecture and Urban Landscaping or 3D Visual Artists
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
