Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is searching for a Project Delivery Lead to assist our client in successfully managing technology projects. These projects can range from several months to multiple years. The role combines project leadership, team management, and client engagement to achieve project goals and provide valuable outcomes for healthcare partners. As the Project Lead, you will oversee teams and coordinate program and project activities within defined constraints. This permanent role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including internal departments, consultants, vendors, client sponsors, and external agencies. The ideal candidate must possess strategic problem-solving abilities, including complex analysis and solution development Responsibilities: Consulting Project Accountability Collaborate with senior members of the client team to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria. With project management and delivery teams, oversee the development of full-scale project plans, including timelines and milestones. Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals and assign tasks accordingly. Identify and mitigate potential risks and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery. Define project governance structure and communication protocols. Monitor project progress against established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks in a timely manner. Track project expenses, manage budgets and recommend budget changes where necessary. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. Provide guidance, coaching to team members. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project team. Client Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for the project sponsors, providing regular updates on project status, risk and issues. Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives, deliverables, and budgets. Facilitate productive meetings, workshops, and presentations. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to drive project success. Quality Assurance Ensure quality assurance processes and standards to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize project delivery processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team. Requirements: 8+ years of experience working directly with B2C and/or B2B systems/technology. 5+ years of experience in business or customer relationship management or consulting services. Experience leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams. Experience navigating senior relationships both internal and external. Experience in Health, Insurance and/or Financial industries and environments. Experience with Scaled Agile. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions within the organization, and in a matrix reporting environment involving bargaining unit employees, exempt employees, contractors and vendors. A Lean Agile mindset and operate in an Enterprise Agile Framework (SAFe) Excellent interpersonal, partnership, team building and leadership skills Able to elicit needs, discern what is critical for success and shape delivery scope to balance cost, time and risk (both project and operational sustainment). Effective Communication Managing Conflict Feedback Action Oriented Ensuring Accountability Organizational Savvy Problem Solving Multiple Demands and Time Management Preferred Experience: Coaching and mentoring IT professionals, designing and implementing complex systems, products, software, and/or solutions and implementing a technology strategy. $95,400 to $143,200 , with the final salary based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
