Job Description

Role Purpose:Assists the Assistant Superintendent in managing work on-site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings and specificationsSupport the Assistant Superintendent in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintainedMonitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followedAdvise the Assistant Superintendent and Assistant Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problemsMaintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budgetMeet with Owners, Consultants, and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the companyMonitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and quality controlInterfaces with project team, subcontractors and related third partiesMonitors and inspects project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures and standards are followedPosition Requirements:A EIT or CET designation is preferred2 years of construction experience desiredExperience on MTO road construction projects is desiredExperience in AFP/P3 Design-Build projects is desiredExposure to all aspects of road buildingResults-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.Our purpose At Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
