Location Ottawa Language English Required Security Clearance Secret Security Clearance RequiredRole And ResponsibilitiesOur Federal Government client requires a Project Coordinator to Develop, plan, Analyze, Evaluate requirements with team and project authorities.They Will Be Responsible ToAssisting project team in all management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspectsProviding administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to a project teamAssisting in performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and recordsActing as the first point of contact in a "hot-line" situation by accepting incoming calls, logging calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for more difficult problemsTracking project change requestsMaintaining and updating relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondenceCommunicating with project management on administrative matters related to the projectAssisting in the preparation and coordination of documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update management of project progressReceiving incoming mail (both hard copy and e-mail), prioritizes, assesses urgency, sets deadlinesDeveloping/maintaining bring forward (BF) and other control systems for action itemsResearching and locating background information, analyzes, extracts relevant information and writes summariesMaintaining and tracking financial transactions, enters commitments and expenditures into the projects financial budget.Qualifications And ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in: Entering project financial information into financial systems; Producing project financial reports; and Resolving discrepancies.Minimum of 5 years of experience in: Maintaining project decisions, action logs and change requests.Minimum of 5 years of experience in: Performing analysis and reporting on project progress.Bilingualism in French and English is a strong assetTechnologies:MS Project or CA ClarityMS WordMS ExcelMS Power Point
