Job Profile

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of personnel, materials, assets, and project management.

Job Duties

  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective pre-job communication and follow up
  • Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Cultivate relationships with employees and customers
  • Directly involved in logistics planning and permitting
  • Assigning and reviewing employee safety certifications
  • Participate in yard and equipment audits and inspections
  • Learning to navigate DFI’s Pact system
  • Planning daily yard and shop activities
  • Coordinating asset utilization with DFI branch locations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in piling or industrial work setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, identifying issues and bottlenecks easily, anticipating problems before they arise.
  • Identify and resolves issues effectively – communicating and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Passionate about improving their knowledge, skills, mindset, and outlook, each day
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize projects, as necessary
  • Able to function in a high stress fast paced work environment, where interruptions are abundant
  • Work requiring attention to detail is regularly subject to frequent interruptions that require immediate attention
  • Peak periods occasionally require an accelerated work pace, or demanding deadlines create pressure
  • Monday to Friday – Available some weekends on call
  • Frequent overnight travel required on scheduled areas of coverage
