Become a PROJECT COORDINATOR in Artificial intelligence for YOUTH FUSION!
Description
While collaborating with the teaching teams, you will develop and lead weekly activities in class (secondary 3 to 5) related to the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and of technologies. You will lead students to conceptualize a company offering an AI solution that meets a societal need!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Introduce students to technological concepts as well as to social and ethical issues related to AI;
- Guide students in learning programming as well as basic AI models so that they design and take ownership of their solution;
- Accompany youth through the initial steps of creating a business (ideation, business plan, prototyping).
REQUIREMENTS
- Current (or completed) university program related to the computer field OR experience in the field and willingness to give back to the community;
- Knowledge of a software allowing the creation of an AI program or system accessible to beginners;
- Spoken and written French.
Will be considered as assets:
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship (business plan, marketing, market research, financial plan);
- Any experience with youth with learning or behavioural disabilities
- Any other experience working/volunteering with youth (e.g. day camps, youth centre, etc.);
- Desire to be a role model for youth and act as an agent of social change;
