JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Project Manager, Business Transformation, the Project Coordinator will be working within the PMO and will be required to assist with the administrative functions on multiple projects and other smaller initiatives. The successful candidate will be required to uphold the requirements of Medline’s Project Management Methodology while ensuring that effective administrative project support is maintained. Project delivery could be focused on IT projects - Application Development, IT Infrastructure or IT Governance as well as other non-technology projects.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create and maintain a structured environment to allow projects and other initiatives to be delivered successfully;

· Ensure that scope, schedule, budget and roles / responsibilities are clear to all stakeholders.

· Prepare, track, and provide timely updates to action, issue and risk logs;

· Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for all project status meetings

· Coordinate updates and submit weekly PMO project status reports;

· Ensure content on team site remains relevant and that documents are stored in the appropriate repositories;

· Assist in coordination of major deliverables;

QUALIFICATIONS 

· Post-secondary degree

· Approximately 2 years experience in a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator role

· CAPM or PMP considered an asset

· Experience working with required project documentation (e.g. status reports, business requirements, test plans, issues/risks logs, project change requests, project closure documents)

· Power user of Microsoft Office Suite

· Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio is an asset

· Knowledge of Project Portfolio Management Tools is an asset

· Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines

· A team player with a constructive approach to challenges

· Travel within North America may be required
